Heskin Radiophonic is the nom de plume of Gordon Chapman-Fox.
Gordon is old enough to have been born into a world of space age euphoria: Star Wars, Tom Baker as Doctor Who and the emerging electronic soundscapes of Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Wendy Carlos and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
Gordon has been playing and composing music for over 20 years. 10 years spent in Mechagodzilla, playing “jazz-grindcore” involved a wide range of playing styles and genres. The last recording made with Mechagodzilla included a far more hands-on approach to the recording, mixing and producing of the demo.
Gordon has been making music on computer based systems since 2003, under the name Heskin Radiophonic, and is fluent with Ableton Live, Logic Pro X and Reason.
In 2014 Gordon started working on new material for promotional films for Hopeful & Glorious, an arts and crafts event management company co-run by Gordon and his wife. More remix and video work has followed.
