Imagine standing on the edge of the sea and letting the timeless,
endless sound of the elements surround you and overwhelm you.
This is Heskin Radiophonic.

BIOGRAPHY

Heskin Radiophonic started in 2003 with a trip to the Sonar Festival, a copy of Reason 2.0 and a box full of Squarepusher, Add N To (X) and Boards Of Canada minidiscs.
I had been playing in extreme grindcore bands for the previous 8 years - primarily playing bass with Mechagodzilla, though earlier (as a taste of things to come) as a noise-sampler/keyboard player in Narcosis. Mechagodzilla had opened my mind to a new world of music, and the technology made electronica possible.
My first album, Defiantly Glad, featured a few golden nuggets (which can be found on my Soundcloud page) and was released in 2006, but the addition of guitar to the synths transformed my work.
Wait For No Man was released on the Fwonk* Netlabel in 2009 and was the first work to really capture the sound I wanted. 雪月花時最憶君 followed soon after.
Following on from the success of these, a collaboration with labelmates Echosonic and Vasko The Pig resulted in the Viejos Hombres de Abejón album - the old men of drone, producing an increasingly noisy, dense sound. An ambient mix for the mammoth FWONK*50 compilation followed.
Work on side projects distracted me from Heskin Radiophonic creations, but work on two more EPs was finished in 2011. Thodsmooft and Die Verwanderlung are now freely available from my Bandcamp page.

Recalling the days of a misspent youth spent with Narcosis and Mechagodzilla, PCSH is a brief exercise in lilting power-violence. The debut EP was remixed and destroyed by Katarrhaktes. A sequel is planned, with a greater intermingling of Katarrhaktes' sonic destruction and PCSH uncontained warblings.

Viejos Hombres de Abejón is a collective of drone musicians, whose line-up on their first volume includes myself, Echosonic, and Vasko the Pig. Volume One is an awe inspiring collection of drones gradually succumbing to a tidal wave of industrial noise. Volume Two, featuring more collaborators, is on the drawing board.

Attention all you greasers, hopheads and squares! Stratosonics are here to jet propel you into the future with some down and dirty rock and roll! So quit your gawping and buckle in for some high speed, all attitude and no talent psychobilly vibes.
